MSE testing and vaccination service using Shift Partner Covid web-app : Mid and South Essex FT and Shift Partner

Starting in March 2020, in response to the national ask, Mid and South Essex NHS Trust (MSEFT) collaborated with Shift Partner, a digital innovation company whose co-founder is an NHS Anaesthetist and MSEFT Innovation Fellow, to locally develop a cloud-based, multi-tenanted, web- app for Covid-19 testing (PCR and antibody) and now flu and Covid-19 vaccinations. The web-app is a core part of service delivery, complementing and covering the whole clinical pathway from booking appointments, documenting clinical information, to receiving notifications of results/care guidance. This service is available to approximately 40,000 keyworkers across MSE who deliver safe services for 1.2million population.
