Hexitime - the national timebank and skill exchange for improving care : Walsall Healthcare Trust in partnership with Hexitime

In 2018 Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust partnered with Hexitime to deliver the first timebank in the NHS for improving services. Over the last 2 years the initiative has led to a national-level solution with participants from most NHS providers in the country. The partnership has created a free to use digital platform for sharing and developing great ideas, and exchanging expertise as using a novel time currency. This allows anybody improving services (including patients) to access resources across the system, for free, that they wouldn't otherwise have had access to.
