Somerset Open Mental Health : Somerset FT, in Partnership with Somerset CCG, voluntary and community sector Alliance, Experts by Experience and Somerset County Council

Open Mental Health is a multi-agency, open access initiative using the system’s collective strengths to positively influence whole communities by addressing social, therapeutic and wider determinants of mental ill health.

Open Mental Health features a range of support and therapeutic activities, It is a collaborative and partnership model provided by Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, Experts by Experience, Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group, Somerset County Council and nine organisations from Somerset voluntary and community sector.

We have broken down previous barriers, enabled prevention and early intervention for people across Somerset with, or at risk of, mental ill health.
