North Tyneside CCG partnership with Livi : North Tyneside CCG
Increasing demand on GP services meant that the CCG had to create more capacity to improve the patient experience. Patient feedback was that they found it difficult to access a GP appointment when they needed it. We agreed at our strategic partnership Board to commission a one year pilot to deploy an additional 400 appointments a week through digital care. We commissioned Livi to provide those additional appointments across all of our Primary Care Networks, the first of its type to provide a population solution rather than a practice level solution.
