Virtual Booking for Minor injuries : Partnership of East London Cooperatives

We serve the population of Barking, Havering, Redbridge and Dagenham through the provision of two ED co-located urgent treatment centres and two non ED co-located urgent treatment centres in North East London. We set up a virtual consultation service for minor injuries, led by experienced minor injuries doctors. Patients can be referred from 111 straight into the service, and if required diagnostics can be pre-booked for scheduled arrival. Patients are consulted over their mobiles phones via video link to clinicians located within any of our centres. (See link to youtube presentation on slide 2 in the supporting evidence)
